The New York State Department of Transportation released an alert on Thursday cautioning motorists that beginning at 8 p.m. on Sept. 6 through 3 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, a northbound lane will be closed on the parkway between exit 25 (Route 127) and exit 26E (I-287.)
During the construction and lane closures, motorists can expect delays and have been advised to seek alternate routes when possible. Flaggers are expected to be posted in the area to assist with the flow of traffic during the project.
